Step-by-step instructions for installing and setting up MedhaSaar native applications across all supported operating systems.

Windows (EXE)

Windows 10 / 11 64-bit

Download the installer: Obtain the official .exe setup binary from our Downloads Hub.
Run the installer: Double-click the downloaded file. If Microsoft Defender SmartScreen displays a warning, click “More info” followed by “Run anyway”.
Complete Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to select an install directory and create a desktop shortcut.
Sign in: Open MedhaSaar, enter your verified credentials, and access your workspace.

Android (APK)

Android 8.0 (Oreo) and above

Download APK: Tap the Android download link on your phone from our Downloads Hub.
Allow Unknown Sources: When prompted by Chrome or your File Manager, tap Settings and enable “Allow from this source”.
Install the Package: Tap “Install” when the system package installer appears.
Grant Permissions: Launch the app and grant network & storage permissions to enable full offline synchronization.

macOS (App)

macOS 12 Monterey or later

Download disk image: Save the .dmg file from the Downloads Hub.
Drag to Applications: Open the downloaded DMG and drag the MedhaSaar application icon into your Applications folder.
Security prompt: On first launch, macOS Gatekeeper may confirm you downloaded the app from the internet. Click “Open”.
Ready to work: MedhaSaar will now appear in your Launchpad and Spotlight Search.

Can I run multiple role apps on the same device?

Yes. Each MedhaSaar application (Institute, Recruiter, Student, Freelancer) is sandboxed with its own isolated local storage and workspace cache.

How do automatic software updates work?

The client app checks for signed releases on startup. When a newer version is verified on our CDN, an in-app update banner allows a one-click upgrade.

Does MedhaSaar work without internet connectivity?

Essential offline utilities (such as student document tools and cached profiles) work locally without an active network. Data synchronizes once reconnected.

Why does Windows SmartScreen show an unrecognized app prompt?

During initial public beta releases, Windows SmartScreen builds reputational trust over time. Our binaries are virus-scanned and completely safe.
